There is a possibility that your company file may be damaged if you are getting the error ‘QuickBooks won’t open’. You'll need to determine if the problem is with QuickBooks or with your data file. QuickBooks may attempt to open your former company file. Maintaining the Ctrl key pressed and held, press the QuickBooks Desktop icon. Choose Open after selecting a company file. Repairing your QuickBooks Desktop installation is another option. Similarly, run a repair Quickbooks option to replace any corrupted setup file. The following approach is to execute the Tools Hub's Clean Install utility. The Clean Install program automatically renames your previous installation directories.
